Fundamentals of Supply Chain Management
This course will take you through the procurement process starting with selecting the right commodity followed by understanding and selecting the right mode for bidding including knowing when and how to select and lead a cross-functional team. These skills will ultimately lead to producing an optimal award and contract.
The necessity of the internal and external communications, also known as "negotiations", will be emphasized. Negotiations will not only lead to producing better contracts and supplier relationships, but also help to provide better influence and gain cooperation and respect throughout the organization.
